We are pleased to welcome David Sisk as an Associate Attorney with Jessica Jensen Law PS. David’s background includes several years working in state government where he helped develop legislation and public policy initiatives in the areas of criminal justice and civil and commercial law.
David P. Sisk brings an open-minded and outgoing personality to the firm along with a diverse personal and professional background. David’s practice focuses on litigation, family law, probate, and real estate. His litigation practice emphasizes strong statutory and case law research, utilizing his background in legislative policy development. David enjoys meeting with clients and helping them navigate through the legal system in the most positive way possible.
Originally from Youngstown, Ohio, David moved to Washington after law school. His professional background includes several years working in state government policy development for multiple state legislatures, as well as nearly ten years working in state and local politics. David also worked for eighteen months as an English teacher in Seoul, South Korea where he met his wife Sooyoung.
David has a JD from Rutgers School of Law – Newark, a BA in Political Science from Youngstown State University, and an ESL Teaching Certificate from Oxford Teaching Seminars. David is a member of the Washington State Bar Association and has Korean language skills.
David has extensive experience working in local communities and has been active in state and local politics, including serving as an elected precinct-committee person and running for the state legislature in Ohio. David began his legal career assisting non-citizens with the immigration process and continues to provide pro-bono landlord-tenant and immigration services.
David enjoys birdwatching, organic gardening, and maintaining a plant-based diet. He also loves traveling and is passionate about human and animal rights.
